33rd Anniversary Open House Celebration
In February of 1990, Homeward Pet – originally named Hooterville Pet Safehaus after an old cartoon – was founded on the belief that every adoptable animal would eventually find a safe, caring home. Our founder, Peggy Barnish, saw a need for a shelter without time limits in Greater Seattle. We continue this vision to this day. Help us celebrate 34 years of saving lives.
Stay tuned as we coordinate a fun set of celebrations for our 35th Anniversary in 2025.
Thank you for your support on this continued journey as we evolve to embrace the changing landscape of animal welfare in Washington State.
Regardless of whether you are able to participate in our varied celebrations this month, please consider a donation in honor of your connection with our organization – volunteer, adopter, food bank recipient, public clinic day participant, donor, event attendee, advocate…
