New Dog Intake/Isolation Kennels!

We are excited to announce Homeward Pet’s new dog intake/isolation kennels have arrived, been installed and are already in-use, thanks to the amazing support of our 2016 Fur Ball Auction attendees!

This is a major upgrade for the homeless animals in our care. The new dog intake/isolation kennels have solid stainless steel walls making them easier to clean and disinfect while greatly reducing the likelihood of disease and contagion. The kennels are also more private, giving all of our dogs just arriving to the shelter a place to rest, recover and adjust to their new environment. These kennels could not have come at a better time! It has been less than three weeks and all six kennels are already full of furry residents waiting to find loving homes!

A huge thanks goes out to our supporters and Fur Ball Auction attendees for helping fund this important shelter enhancement.
