Host a Fundraiser
At Your Business
- Donate a Percentage of Sales: Share proceeds from the sale of your products, services or event tickets. Email us to let us know about your fundraiser and we will help promote it.
- Start a Workplace Giving & Matching Campaign: Encourage employee giving by doubling or tripling the donations co-workers make to Homeward Pet.
- Collect Donations from Staff & Customers: Are you a retailer? Collect donations from visitors at your retail location.
- Collect our Shelter Essentials that help in the care of the homeless animals in the shelter
- Host a Pet Food Drive to support the shelter animals and the Homeward Pet Food Bank.
- Collect change in a donation box from your visiting customers.
- Create a Dress Down Day at the Office: “Jeans Days” or “Dress Down Days” are a wonderful way to motivate co-workers to give to a worthy cause. Just set a minimum donation amount (ie. $2-$5) to dress down for the day in the office and donate the funds raised to the animals of Homeward Pet.
- Jersey Fridays: Similar concept to the “Dress Down Days” at the office, but “Jersey Days” let your co-workers represent their favorite teams while raising money for a worthy cause.
For Children
- Lemonade Stand: Everyone loves lemonade! This classic fundraiser is a refreshing way to raise money for the cats and dogs of Homeward Pet.
- Neighborhood Car Wash: Car washes are a great way to get a group of young animal lovers together to raise money for Homeward Pet. Put your scrubbing skills to the test while enjoying an afternoon of sunshine!
- Host a Party: This is a sure-fire way to collect food and supplies for the animals! Provide your invited guests with our Shelter Essentials list and ask them to bring a donation to the party.

- Organize a Ride-A-Thon at School: Talk to your teachers and administrators at your child’s school about supporting a school wide bicycle fundraiser for the animals of Homeward Pet. Solicit pledges from family, friends, neighbors and more to donate for every hour you ride. Parents and teachers can supervise the event as they root the kids on!
