Available Dogs & Puppies
From Foster to Family
Are you considering adopting a dog but feel nervous about making it official on the first date?
Whether it’s the commitment, the unknowns, or the adoption fee that’s holding you back, we have an amazing opportunity for you. Foster first!
All of our dogs are currently available to go home on a trial run before adoption. And, if you choose to adopt, the adoption fee is waived.
Make an adoption appointment, or stop by the shelter during adoption hours, and take home one of our amazing dogs today!
Below are the dogs and puppies currently available for adoption. Adoptions are completed on a first come, first served basis and people with appointments will have priority.
Please click HERE to schedule your appointment to come to the shelter to meet our Available Dogs. You are welcome to stop by during adoption hours for a tour and to learn more about adopting (and will be helped as time and staffing allow), but an appointment guarantees that you’ll be helped by one of our Adoption Specialists, and be able to meet an available dog or puppy. Read more about our adoption process and guidelines.
All of our available dogs and puppies are given a comprehensive health exam by our staff veterinarian (including baseline blood work for all dogs over 8 years of age), spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated (Bordetella, DHPP and rabies), de-wormed, and given flea control.
Adoptions include a certificate for a free veterinary exam with the vet of your choice, a free introductory training class with GoodPup (plus an exclusive lifetime discount), free microchip registration, leash, collar, and ID tag. Our Adopter Support Program is available to help with each animal’s transition to their new home, providing information, referrals, resources, and free behavior consultations with our staff certified professional dog trainers.
You can view more dogs available for adoption through our Home To Home program.
Through Home To Home, prospective adopters connect directly with owners that need to rehome their pet. This means that a pet can move directly to their new home, and avoid being surrendered to a shelter. Prospective adopters get to speak directly with owners and learn all about their pet’s personality first hand. And this saves limited shelter space and resources for other animals that have no other options.
